Did you know that the perfect tempo for any shot under 75 yards is a 2:1 tempo ratio?
It doesn’t matter if you have a 2 foot, 40 foot, chip or pitch. You always want a 2:1 tempo.
But what does that even mean? Let me explain.
If you total swing time is .75 seconds then broken down that is .50 on the takeaway and then .25 on the downswing.
Thus, you would have a 2 to 1 ratio.
